Welcome to Alpaca Green Forest!
Alpacarnia Zielony Lasek is located in the quiet, picturesque village of Romankowo in the Sępopol commune in Warmia. The village is surrounded by forests, meadows and ponds, and the sounds of birdsong, the relaxing rustle of trees and the intertwining sounds of our and wild animals can be heard all around.
The farm was founded in 1947 by my grandparents, then my parents continued the story, and for several years I have given it a different direction, together with my husband and son we are creating a new story. We focus on living in the countryside. Nature has been close to our hearts since childhood, and now we want to instill this in our son.
Over the years, our farm has undergone various metamorphoses. We are currently a certified educational farm. From love to animals, we have created an Alpacarnia Zielony Lasek. We do an alpaca breeding with the possibility (on our farm or we can drive to you) visits for everyone , the pleasure of presenting quilts, pillows and handicrafts made of 100% wool from our alpacas with the possibility of purchasing them, photo sessions with animals, the possibility of organizing special events, and soon alpaca tracking , alpaca therapy classes, overnight stays and a lot more.
On our Farm we breed Huacaya Alpaca.
Our herd consists of females, males and every season newborn young alpacas, which we call Cria. Shetland ponies Daisy and Donald have also joined our farm.
The biggest attraction of the farm are alpacas – extremely gentle animals, whose company has a positive effect on the well-being of both adults and children. Touching alpacas and close contact with them causes the release of endorphins, the hormone of happiness. The company of these animals calms, relaxes, soothes and improves the mood. It helps to overcome fears, relieves symptoms of neurosis, and helps build self-confidence. At each meeting, we passionately share interesting information about alpacas and ponies. During meetings with alpacas, it is possible to pet them, feed them and walk them on a halter on the farm. During your stay, we will also present ways of processing and using alpaca wool. On the farmyard we run workshops with alpaca wool. During session we will tell a lot of interesting facts and values about alpaca woll, and also our Guests take the work they make with them as a souvenir.
We run sessions for children and adults, people with disabilities and the elderly. We organize sessions for small and large groups, and each Guest receives a Certificate of Friends of Alpacas and Ponies at the end of the visit.
